James Kingston - Trinity Alumnus RIP.
The Law School is deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of James Kingston.
James was a wonderful former colleague, alumni, mentor and great friend of the School. He will be deeply missed. Heart felt condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
A qualified barrister, James joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1995 and became legal adviser in 2009. He advised on EU and human rights law and provided legal counsel to the department on matters ranging from Brexit and the Lisbon Treaty to the European Stability Mechanism and the International Criminal Court.
