Connecting to the Student Wi-Fi

Get connected to the Trinity network via the fast and secure Student Wi-Fi service.

Once on campus, you can connect to the Trinity network via the Student Wi-Fi service.

The Student Wi-Fi service allows students to connect their computer, mobile phone, or tablet to the Trinity network to get fast secure internet access.

Note: The Student Wi-Fi service is separate to the 'eduroam' service. eduroam would only be used by Trinity students when visiting other participating institutions.

What you need to get connected to the Student Wi-Fi

The following are the general requirements for connecting to the Trinity network via the Student Wi-Fi service:

  • Only Trinity students with a valid IT username and password can connect to the Student Wi-Fi service
  • All users are obliged to read and be familiar with the terms and conditions of connecting to the network
  • Your computer must conform to the minimum software and hardware requirements
  • Users connecting a mobile device are required to have a screen lock such as a passcode, Touch ID or Face ID set on the device
