A newly discovered security vulnerability has been announced for the web browsers Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Critical security updates are now available.
The updates will automatically install in most cases but if not, Chrome and Edge users will receive a prompt to install the updates on 7th December.
We recommend that you check to see if your browser is up to date and install any missing updates.
- Chrome: Launch Chrome and from the menu (three vertical dots) choose Help – About Google Chrome, and then install any pending updates.
- Edge: Launch Edge and from the menu (three dots) choose Help and Feedback – About Microsoft Edge, and then install any pending updates.
