Following a Mailchimp data breach earlier this month where names and email addresses were compromised, there has been an increase in phishing attacks on Mailchimp customers. No passwords or other data were compromised.
Mailchimp is used extensively in Trinity by many College clubs and departments. We ask that you remain extra vigilant to any unusual emails or other phishy online behaviour.
Remember, treat any email that asks for your username and password with extreme caution. Never open attachments or click on links unless you are fully confident the message is from a legitimate party.
