IT Services manage and maintain the AV (audio-visual), Lecture Capture, Wi-Fi, and related IT equipment in a number of the centrally timetabled teaching spaces across the University, sometimes referred to as the Senior Lecturer Pool Rooms.

New series of video user guides for AV resources in teaching spaces

Several months ago, we introduced a new series of short video user guides for AV systems for three locations in the Arts Building - the Burke Theatre, Lecture room 3126, and the CleverTouch screen in room 3137.

These video user guides, delivered by the IT Services' Teaching and Learning team, will assist lecturers in understanding how to manage the delivery of their content using the available AV systems. The topics covered for each space include:

  • How to use the AV panel
  • How to use the teacher's desk
  • How to connect a laptop
  • How to use the document camera
  • How to record a lecture using Panopto
  • User guides by location
