What is changing?
Stream (Classic) will be replaced by the new experience, Stream (on SharePoint) in 2023. From 8th December 2022, you will no longer be able to upload videos on Stream (Classic).
What do I need to do?
We encourage you to start using the new experience by simply uploading your videos to SharePoint, Teams, or OneDrive. You can see your videos and meeting recordings stored in Microsoft 365 by using the new Stream (on SharePoint) start page.
Background
Microsoft will retire Stream (Classic) in 2023. The exact retirement date will be published in early 2023. In its place you can now use Stream on SharePoint, which is fully integrated into Microsoft 365. Since July 2022, Teams meeting recordings are stored in SharePoint or Teams rather than Stream (Classic).
