Check an email is legitimate
Listed below are links to a selection of the more prominent automated emails that are sent by IT Services to staff and students.
For example, if you receive a email warning you of account expiry or password expiry, then you can check the links below to ensure the email you received is legitimate.
Always remember:
- Trust your instincts. If an email offers something that looks too good to be true, it probably is
- Don't be tempted to respond hastily to an email which threatens to disable your account
- If you are still unsure give the IT Service Desk a call
