How to obtain your IP address

Every computer on the Trinity data network has a unique IP address. To get the IP address of your computer follow the instructions below for your operating system.

I need help determining your operating system

Windows

1. On the keyboard, press Windows Logo+R.
2. In the Run box, type cmd, press Enter.
3. In the Command Prompt, type ipconfig, and press Enter.
4. The IP address is listed as IPv4 Address and takes the form 134.226.xxx.xxx

macOS

1. Click Apple Icon, click System Preferences - Network.
2. Select a type of connection:
   • On macOS Monterey: From the panel on the left, click Ethernet or Wi-Fi
   • On macOS Ventura and macOS Sonoma: From the panel on the left, click Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Then click the Details button next to the name of the network you are connected to
3. The IP address is listed in the main section of the window and is in the form 134.226.xxx.xxx.
