Connecting to a network

Depending on your status in College and which network you are hoping to connect to, the connection steps differ.

Staff

Wired network in College offices and labs

The first step for connecting a computer to the Wired network is to submit a network request form.

30 minutes after submitting the network request form you will receive an email from IT Services with further instructions on how to proceed.

Staff Wi-Fi

The first step for connecting a computer to the Staff Wi-Fi network is to submit a network request form.

30 minutes after submitting the network request form you will receive an email from IT Services with further instructions on how to proceed.

Mobile devices

Staff requesting connection of relevant mobile devices should follow the instructions on our staff mobile device webpage.

Postgraduates

Student Wi-Fi

Postgraduates who require a Wi-Fi connection to the College network, including from within College residences, will need to use the Student Wi-Fi service.

Wired network in College offices and labs

Postgraduates who require connection to the College wired network in College offices should submit a network request form.

30 minutes after submitting the network request form you will receive an email from IT Services with further instructions on how to proceed.

Undergraduates

Student Wi-Fi

Undergraduates who require connection to the College network will need to use the Student Wi-Fi service.

Guests

eduroam

Visitors from participating institutions of the College can use the eduroam Wi-Fi service.

Guest Wi-Fi

Certain staff members, known as 'Authorising Parties', can request access to the Guest Wi-Fi network for guests of the College.
