Microsoft Edge - Internet Explorer mode

If you need to access a website/service that only works in Internet Explorer, you can use the Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge.

Steps to open Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge

1. Launch Microsoft Edge
2. Enter the following URL into the address bar: edge://settings/defaultBrowser
3. Ensure ‘Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode’ is set to ‘Allow’
4. Beside Internet Explorer mode pages choose Add
5. In the box provided, enter the full web address of the relevant website and click Add
6. Close the Settings tab
7. Close and re-launch Edge

This setting lasts for 30 days before you need to repeat these steps.

The ultimate recommendation is to move away from using any website/service that only works in Internet Explorer/Internet Explorer mode.
