HEAnet media hosting service
Media Hosting is a web-based application provided by HEAnet. It is usable by both staff and students and allows the secure hosting, transcoding and streaming of video, audio files and podcasts.
The media content can then be directly played, downloaded, embedded into any website or simply stored. Playback is offered in the highest possible quality. The service supports transcoding of multiple video formats making it a very useful service.
Logging in to HEAnet media hosting service
Access is via Edugate federated access meaning you can login using your Trinity username and network login password, as outlined below.
- Visit http://media.heanet.ie/ and click Login
- Select Trinity College Dublin from Home Organisation list.
- Sign in using your Trinity username and your network login password.
