Patrick Magee
Director, IT Services
Patrick Magee is the Director of IT Services since March 2017. He is responsible for overall direction of the IT organisation, the maintenance of services to our 17,500 students and 4,000 staff, and the delivery of change programs to enable the university’s strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Trinity College Dublin, Patrick held a number of IT leadership roles with international financial services organisations in Ireland and abroad. He has held positions as CIO for emerging countries; Head of IT Delivery for Europe, Middle East and Africa; and as a Global Delivery Services Executive. Patrick holds a B.SC in Computer Applications from Dublin City University and is on the Board of HEAnet and the Coeliac Society of Ireland, a registered charity.
Paul Flynn
Programme Director of Digital Transformation
Paul Flynn is Trinity's Programme Director of Digital Transformation. As a member of the digital governance group and IT leadership team, Paul drives the establishment and delivery of strategic initiatives to accelerate, transform and optimise the student and staff digital experience at Trinity College Dublin.
Dr. Geoff Bradley
Head of Academic Services, Innovation and Digital Platforms
Dr. Geoff Bradley is Head of Academic Services, Innovation and Digital Platforms in IT Services and is responsible for the delivery of core compute, network, storage and Research IT infrastructure and services to the Trinity community.
Prior to taking up his current position in IT Services, Dr. Bradley was director of the Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing and Assistant Professor (part-time) in the School of Mathematics where he lectured on advanced numerical analysis. He has acted as PI or co-PI on research grants bringing in over €25M funding.
Dr. Bradley holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School, UCD (2010), a PhD in Physics, TCD (2001) and an MSc in High Performance Computing, TCD (1999).
Helen O’Hara
Head of Management Services
Ms. Helen O’Hara is Head of Management Services in IT Services and is responsible for Application Design and Development, Programming and Integration, Business Application Support and Business Intelligence services to the Trinity community.
Prior to taking up her current position in IT Services, Ms. O’Hara was Manager of the Student Administration System (SAS) User Support Unit. She also had management roles in the Student Records and Alumni / Proctors’ Offices as well as in the Office of the Vice Provost.
Ms. O’Hara holds a M.Sc. (Management of Information Systems) as well as a B.Sc. Financial Information Systems
