Trinity College Dublin has been chosen to host the ARC Hub for Therapeutics, a €31.6 million initiative under Research Ireland. The Hub aims to accelerate the development of innovative therapeutics, strengthening Ireland’s role in life sciences.
A Collaborative Effort
The establishment of the ARC Hub is the result of extensive collaboration between the core partners Technology Transfer Offices, Leading Academics, Irish and International Venture Capital firms and Government agencies. The Innovation Offices of Trinity, RCSI and UCD played a vital role in identifying the challenges, securing funding, coordinating stakeholders, and aligning the project with national research priorities.
Advancing Therapeutic Innovation
The ARC Hub will focus on pioneering research areas such as next-generation cell and gene therapies and advanced medicinal therapeutic products. With strong institutional backing and strategic vision, this initiative positions Trinity as a leader in biomedical research, fostering innovation that will benefit patients worldwide.
By bridging research and industry, the ARC Hub is set to make significant contributions to global healthcare, reinforcing Ireland’s reputation in life sciences and therapeutic advancements.
