Annual Tenure Reviews – Process Overview
The tenure track process consists of a time period of five years with the first year being a probationary year. Goals and objectives will be set by the Head of School and agreed with the Assistant Professor each year.
In years 1 and 2 annual reviews to assess the level of performance and to set future objectives will be carried out by the Head of School. In year 3 the review will be undertaken by a School Review Panel and in year 4 by the Junior Academic Progression Panel. The benchmarks will be pro-rated in relation to any leave taken, consistent with good practice.
