General Tax Information

Tax Year

The Tax year operates from 1st January to the 31st December each year. Upon receipt of updated information, employee records are updated with the new credits etc. and any adjustments made are reflected in the next Payroll Run.

The Tax Office has also reminded us that staff should ensure that all personal details are up to date.

PAYE Exclusion Orders

Teachers and Researchers coming from abroad to work at Trinity College may, in certain circumstances, be entitled to seek from the Revenue Commissioners an order granting exclusion from the payment of income tax in Ireland.

Exclusion Order Applications are made by the Employee Services section of HR.
