If you are employed on a pensionable capacity within the university, you are eligible to apply for all internal vacancies.
Can I apply for a vacancy after the deadline of 12 noon?
No - Applications must be submitted before the 12 noon deadline.
How do I know when a post will close for applications?
The closing date for all posts is detailed on the job advertisement on jobs.tcd.ie
Can I send in my CV for HR to keep on file should any suitable vacancy come up?
HR do not retain speculative CV's on file. Please visit http://jobs.tcd.ie and apply through e-recruitment for any vacancy that interests you and meets your skillset. If you are interested in entry grade temporary executive officer roles, please send your CV to hr@tcd.ie. It will be forwarded to the Recruitment Relationship Partner who looks after the temp bank and they will be in contact directly should any suitable vacancy arise.
How do I register to go on the temp bank for admin vacancies within Trinity?

Can I submit one application for consideration for all the vacancies or must I apply for each job individually?
You must apply for each vacancy individually.
Who do I send my CV for a recent job advertisement?
We can only accept applications online by e-recruitment: http://jobs.tcd.ie. Please load your CV and cover letter to E Recruitment if you wish to apply for a role.
Do I need to list my current line manager as a referee on my application?
Yes, your current line manager must be listed as a referee on your application.
I haven't informed my manager that I am applying for this role so I don't want her contacted directly by HR?
Administrative appointments: References shall be collected after the interview process, once a provisional offer is made to the first appointable candidate.
Academic appointments: The resourcing team shall collect references for all candidates who have been invited for interview prior to the interview process.
How will I be advised of the outcome of my application?
You will receive an email informing you if you have been shortlisted or not shortlisted.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the interview?
No unless otherwise stated in the email you received inviting you for interview.
I am not available on the day of the interview, can I change the date?
Unfortunately no, it is policy that the interviews must proceed on the day. It is extremely difficult to get a date to suit all members of the panel so they must proceed as planned.
