Dr Annemarie Bennett
Assistant Professor in Dietetics, School of Medicine (Clinical Medicine)
Annemarie is a registered dietitian with research interests that include the dietary intake of infants, toddlers, and school-age children. She is particularly interested in the psychosocial and cultural factors that influence the development of dietary patterns in early life and childhood. With a a strong interest in health promotion in the adult population Annemarie has contributed to national policies on this area. She is committed to the evidence-based development of quality practice education and learning among students in the health and social care professions. Community Food and Nutrition Worker, South Dublin County Partnership
Chloe is a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) working in the Sláintecare Healthy Community areas of Tallaght and Clondalkin as a Community Food and Nutrition Worker. As part of her role, Chloe runs programmes to raise awareness of nutrition and promote a healthy lifestyle that address the communities' concerns regarding food and nutrition. The programmes provide practical guidance and support to improve eating habits, with a focus on affordability. From cooking and tasting sessions to interactive activities, the programmes empower participants to enhance their nutritional knowledge and apply it in everyday life.
