Structured PhD Modules
Students must study a minimum of taught components equating to 10-ECTS credits. Some School may have specific regulations that require students to obtain more than 10-ECTS of credit or may specify modules that students must take to fulfil their requirements. Please familiarise yourself with the specific requirements within your individual school.
There is a range of generic skills modules which are offered by the Library, Trinity Careers Service, Academic Practice and Student Learning Development all of which should provide students with invaluable skills that will both assist them in their PhD work but will also be useful generally.
For students who are not constrained by the approach in their School, there is a vast array of options available to them to fulfil the taught components of the structured PhD, which can be accessed at the following link Taught Modules within the Structured PhD.
