Our Way of Working
The Programme Team has developed a structured approach to delivering its Work Programme. Our Way of Working framework has been designed to enable the Programme work efficiently and with transparency, deliver expected results, and realise the lasting change required. It draws inspiration from benchmarking quality assured best practices in HEIs and Lean methodology, and we have adapted these elements to align with Trinity's structure and the unique needs of higher education.
All Programme deliverables are progressed and delivered through this six-stage approach, each requiring defined stage gate approval, before advancing to the next stage. In all stages, the identified key stakeholders are consulted as part of the work.
The six stages are:
- Define: To clearly define the current need, and the goal to be achieved.
- Measure & Analyse: Measure the need, benchmarking against best practice and recommending how to close any gap.
- Design: Create a costed detailed design blueprint aligned to defined and validated user needs.
- Develop: Develop the approved design and verify the solution meets all required standards within budget.
- Implement: Establish the necessary actions, level of responsibility and quality control metrics to ensure the solution delivers the anticipated value.
- Transition: Plan to facilitate a smooth handover of responsibility to function / operational team(s), with clear communication and support.
