Trinity Research Doctorate Awards Reception
On Tuesday, November 14th, the Provost hosted a reception to celebrate the recipients of the Trinity Research Doctorate Awards 2023-24 and to launch the award schemes for 2024-25. There was a great turnout of the doctoral students, supervisors (PIs) and research teams, and it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements following a very competitive process. The quality of applications was extremely high, and the final assessment and selection was very challenging.
As a research-intensive University among the LERU network, these awards mark an important starting point in improving stipends and fostering better conditions for PhD students so they can continue to make a impact in their respective fields of research across a broad spectrum of disciplines. Huge congratulations to all the winners, supervisors, and co-supervisors, and a big thank you to everyone who took part in the scheme.
