Postgraduate Teaching Awards 2021
To recognise the substantial contribution that Trinity’s postgraduate research students make to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning through their roles as teaching assistants and demonstrators, the Graduate Studies Office is delighted to announce details of the 2021 Trinity Teaching Award for Postgraduate Students. Details are contained in the attached document. Please note that this applies to any Postgraduate Research Student who has taught during the 2021 calendar year (i.e., January-December, 2021).
Schools may nominate up to 3 postgraduate students for consideration by the selection panel, which will be chaired by the Dean of Graduate Studies and which has cross-Faculty and student representation.
The attached form should be completed by the School (Section A) and the nominee (Section B) and submitted to Dean.GradSecretary by the School by Thursday 25th November 2021.
The scheme is being run as collaboration between the Graduate Studies Office and CAPSL. Shortlisted candidates will be invited by Academic Practice, Trinity Teaching & Learning, to share their teaching experience with their peers through contribution to the Graduate Assistant Training Programme, for example, through a short interview, a resource or participation in a seminar.
