Creating Links Across the Globe through Networks and Alliances
Trinity understands the value of international institutional collaboration via Networks and Alliances and is a member of numerous prestigious collaborations of this type.
Charm-EU
- Created in 2019, CHARM-EU is a European University alliance with 8 member universities, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
- In 2021, CHARM-EU launched a Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability.
Coimbra Group
- Founded in 1985 with Trinity as a founder member, Coimbra Group is an association of long-established European multidisciplinary universities.
- The purpose of the Group is to influence European educational policy and to develop best practice through mutual exchange of experience.
Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA)
- CASA is a non-profit academic consortium of twelve leading comprehensive universities formed for the purpose of organising and delivering rigorous education abroad programmes in collaboration with leading world universities.
European University Foundation (EUF)
- Founded in 2003, the European University Foundation members are public universities that share a culture of academic excellence.
- It aims to accelerate the modernisation of the European Higher Education Area.
International Association of Universities
- Founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO, the International Association of Universities is the leading global association of higher education institutions and organisations with 600 members from more than 130 countries.
League of European Research Universities (LERU)
- Founded in 2002, the League of European Research Universities (LERU) is a well-established network of 24 leading research-intensive universities from 12 European countries.
- Through membership in LERU, Universities can influence national agendas and improve their expertise through mutual learning and exchange of best practices.
The New School, New University in Exile
- Established in 2018, the Consortium follows in the tradition of the New School’s original University in Exile created by its first President, Alvin Johnson in 1933.
- Members of the consortium host exiled scholars from more than 20 countries.
