Trinity's Fourth Irish Language Scheme
REQUEST FOR SUBMISSIONS
OFFICIAL LANGUAGES ACT 2003
PREPARATION OF A DRAFT LANGAUGE SCHEME BY TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN
Trinity College Dublin proposes to draft a fourth language scheme in accordance with Section 11 of the Official Languages Act 2003. The primary objective of the Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish. Trinity College Dublin wishes to invite submissions in relation to the preparation of the draft scheme from any interested parties. Submissions should ideally not exceed 4,000 words (c. 8 pages).
The University's first, second and third language schems are available here. Further information on the Official Languages Act is available on website of the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
