The University's Waste Management procedures are based on the three R's of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, i.e. reduce the amount of waste produced in Trinity, reuse whatever materials we can and recycle whatever we can to ensure that the bare minimum of waste is sent to landfill.
By following these procedures we can greatly reduce the amount of unnecessary waste produced by the University and make a considerable financial saving by reducing the amount of ever-increasing landfill charges the University has to pay.
