Student lockers are available in the following locations:

  • Arts
  • Hamilton
  • Panoz/East End
  • Lloyd
  • Trinity Bio Science Institute (TBSI)
  • 7/9 South Leinster Street
  • St James Hospital (Trinity Centre)

You can reserve a locker in a similar manner to purchasing online tickets via our TCD, T-Card, all Students registered for the 2024/25 Academic Year are eligible to rent a locker at TCard Portal.

Lockers will be offered on a first come first served basis for a period of 9 months commencing Wed 18th September 2024, rental end date Friday 4th July 2025 rental fee of €20.00.

Please note lockers cannot be rented prior to 18th September, the locker rental system goes live on that date.

Terms and Conditions

Students applying for a locker must be registered students of Trinity College Dublin for the 2024/25 Academic Year. Lockers will be offered on a first come first served basis.

The rental period is 9 months commencing 18th September 2024 ending on 4th July 2025, the rental charge €20.00 for the period or part thereof and is non-refundable.

One application only will be accepted per student.

Locker numbers are clearly stated on the front of each individual locker.

At the end of the rental period, students are required to leave their locker key in the empty locker.

On termination of studies within the rental period, permission to rent a locker terminates, students should empty their locker and leave the key in the empty locker.

The Locker will be used by the user solely for the purposes of storing personal belongings, including library materials which have already been issued to the user and for no other purpose.

The user shall not allow any other person to use the Locker.

The Locker shall not be used for storage of any materials deemed to be inappropriate by the   University – e.g., perishable items, illegal materials.

The user shall be entitled to access the Locker during normal opening hours of the building.

The user shall keep the locker in good and clean condition. The user will notify the University immediately of any damage caused to the locker.  Charges may be applied by the University for the repair of any damage caused by the user.

The user will notify the University immediately if the Locker Key is lost or stolen.  Report the matter to our Service Centre at estatesandfacilities@tcd.ie   or call to the office at 194 Pearse Street. You will be required to pay €10.00 for a replacement key via the TCard before collection.

Posting of any signage or other materials on the outside of the locker is prohibited.

Lockers must be cleaned out on or before the rental end date, if a locker is not emptied, any contents deemed valuable, solely at TCD discretion, will be bagged and stored for thirty (30) days after the rental end date.  All other contents will be disposed off or donated immediately after the rental end date. Those wishing to retrieve their items will be required to show their student ID.

The Provost, Fellows, Foundation Scholars and the other members of the Board of the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin (Trinity College Dublin) shall not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred to the users’ personal belongings placed in the locker whatsoever.
