Applications are now open to the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Fund!
An annual fund is made available to staff and students who want to apply for small grants for projects which promote equality in Trinity. Applications of up to €1,000 per project are eligible for consideration from the overall fund of €10,000 per year.
We welcome applications that will enhance and build on our EDI work across the university. Particularly encouraged are project proposals that align with the key areas of our work and those covered in Irish equality legislation:
- Age
- Civil status
- Disability
- Ethnicity / nationality / race
- Family status
- Gender
- Religion and belief
- Sexual orientation
- Traveller community
- Socio-economic status
There is no fixed closing date - applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by the panel until all funding has been allocated. The project selection process is overseen by members of the EDI Sub-Committee.
Application process
All current Trinity staff members and registered students (undergraduate or postgraduate) are eligible to apply for a grant from the EDI Fund. Individual, group, and collaborative projects are all considered, and joint staff and student initiatives are particularly encouraged.
Applications can be submitted online, or a paper copy can be collected at the EDI Office, Room 2054, Arts Building.
