Students interested in pursuing research degrees (Phd or MSc) should initially make contact with a member of staff with matching research interests.

Funded research studentships are widely advertised in the press and all College PhD opportunities can be found listed on the College Home page. Further details of College and external funding can be accessed via the Graduate Studies Office website.

To explore possibilities for postgraduate research toward an MSc or PhD degree please visit our research page and contact the relevant research group.
In the first instance please contact the member of staff whose research interests are most closely allied to your own.
Following agreement with a potential supervisor, a formal application to register must be made through Graduate Studies. Please read the application procedures.
