Staff-Postgraduate Seminars
The Staff-Postgraduate Seminar Series has been integral to the School of English research community since the 1990s. The aim of the seminar series is to provide a relaxed and convivial atmosphere for staff and students to present their research to their peers. The series also welcomes distinguished guest lecturers from the academic community outside Trinity College to present on their work.
It is a fantastic opportunity to share ideas and engage with the diverse research taking place within the School. The series is a bi-weekly meeting of postgraduates and staff. Students and early career researchers may present 20 minute papers on any aspect of their research, while staff members and guest speakers are invited to contribute 40 minute papers.
For any enquiries regarding the series please contact staffpostgradseries@gmail.com.
The seminars take place every other Tuesday in Hilary Term. They are in person at the Neill Lecture Theatre in the Trinity Long Room Hub.
The seminar series offers postgraduate students and researchers with work in progress the opportunity to present their work in a friendly, supportive, and professional environment. The seminar runs like a launching pad for developing ideas. We welcome papers from both continuing and new researchers, particularly those who have not yet had a chance to present their own research to an academic audience.
