Dr. Ema Vyroubalova - Attended Shakespeare: The next 400 years conference
On April 22-24 Dr. Ema Vyroubalova with her PhD students Shauna O'Brien and Kaitlyn Culliton attended Shakespeare: The Next 400 Years conference at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, Denmark (the home of the historical Prince Hamlet). The conference focused on the future of the intellectual and artistic endeavours inspired by Shakespeare's work from academic study and pedagogy through theatre and film to visual and graphic arts. Dr. Vyroubalova was one of the conference co-organizers and convened a panel on Shakespeare and Language. Shauna O'Brien presented a paper on Afghan productions of Shakespeare and Kaitlyn Culliton spoke about the fairies in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
