Public Creative Writing Workshop at TCD

The School of English at Trinity College Dublin is offering a free creative writing workshop with its current Arts Council of Ireland Writer Fellow, Gavin Corbett. The workshop will run over two days, on Saturday 9th July, from 10am to 1pm, and Saturday 16th July, from 10am to 1pm. Submissions are invited for places.

To apply, email a sample of your work (up to 2,000 words of fiction, creative non-fiction, drama, or poetry) to wilde@tcd.ie and put the title ‘Public Workshop’ in the subject heading of your email. Submissions must arrive by or before 5pm of Tuesday 29th June. Your submission need not be a ‘complete’ work – better, indeed, that it’s an excerpt from a work in progress. Gavin Corbett will contact the successful applicants with further details.

Gavin Corbett has published three novels – Innocence (2003), This Is the Way (2013) and Green Glowing Skull (2015) – and written plays for radio. This Is the Way was named Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year for 2013.
