About Professor Nicola Marchetti

Professor Nicola Marchetti has made significant contributions to the field of Wireless Communications. Holding a PhD from Aalborg University, Denmark, and an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Ferrara, Italy, as well as an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Aalborg University, he has a rich educational background. His research spans Communication Engineering for the Natural Sciences, Large-Scale Complex Systems, Quantum Internet, Wireless Communications and Networks, and Applied Mathematics.

Professor Marchetti's prolific career includes over 190 journal and conference papers, authorship of 2 books and 9 book chapters, and the holding of 4 patents. His work has garnered 4 best paper awards. As a senior member of IEEE, he is currently serving as technical editor for IEEE Network and IEEE Wireless Communications, and served in the past as associate editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal and the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking.
