Trinity College Dublin's School of Engineering proudly announces the upcoming Distinguished Lectures by Associate Professor Nicola Marchetti, a prominent figure in Wireless Communications. Professor Marchetti, Head of Discipline of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, who also leads the Wireless Engineering and Complexity Science (WhyCOM) lab under the Irish Research Centre for Future Networks and Communications (CONNECT), will be sharing his expert insights in four prestigious universities and venues in the United States this month. This tour follows Professor Marchetti's successful tour of the UK earlier this year.

About Professor Nicola Marchetti

Professor Nicola Marchetti has made significant contributions to the field of Wireless Communications. Holding a PhD from Aalborg University, Denmark, and an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Ferrara, Italy, as well as an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Aalborg University, he has a rich educational background. His research spans Complex Networks, Mathematics for Communications & Computing, Network Resource Allocation, and Signal Processing for Communications.

Professor Marchetti's prolific career includes over 190 journal and conference papers, authorship of 2 books and 9 book chapters, and the holding of 4 patents. His work has garnered 4 best paper awards. As a senior member of IEEE, he is currently serving as technical editor for IEEE Network and IEEE Wireless Communications, and served in the past as associate editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal and the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking.
