Course Structure

The first two years, Junior and Senior Freshman, are common to all engineering students and provide a fundamental grounding in Mathematics and the Physical Sciences as well as an introduction to all Engineering disciplines covered within the school. 

The second two years, Junior and Senior Sophister allow specification within a student’s chosen discipline.

In the fifth year, students are exposed to topics directly linked to research strengths in the Department and leading to mastery of their chosen speciality.

The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering together with the Department of Computer Science in the School of Computer Science & Statistics services three strands of the BAI degree programme.
