Music
Many MMT graduates have gone on to have successful careers as composers and performers in a wide range of genres from rock/pop/electronica, to contemporary composition, and music for film and TV. The Spatial Music Collective was founded by MMT staff and students in 2006 and continues to perform concerts of acoustic and electroacoustic spatial music in Ireland and abroad. Many former MMT students are members of the Irish Composers Collective, serve on the committee of the Association of Irish Composers, and work with the Irish Contemporary Music Centre and the Arts Council of Ireland as both artists and administrators.
