Associated Programmes with LUMIERE

Members of the LUMIERE group bring their research and their perspectives on language development to bear upon their teaching on two primary associated programmes, namely the M.Ed. (Language Education) and the M.Oid. san Oideachas Lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta [M.Ed. in Irish-medium and Gaeltacht Education]. Furthermore, the shared stance on language education outlined above informs teaching by members of the group on the Professional Master of Education (the English, Irish and Modern Foreign Languages strands, as well as the Literacy and Numeracy and the Arts Education elective modules) and the Certificate in Arts, Science and Inclusive Applied Practice (the Language and Society module). Applications are very welcome from potential Ph.D. and D.Ed. students who wish to carry out research in areas related to any of the groups’ research strands.
