Since 2014, the Scenario Forum international conferences have been held every three years (except in 2020 due to the lockdown). These conferences are a key component of the Scenario Project, an educational initiative that integrates performative approaches into teaching, learning, and research.

The conference topic, presence, was chosen due to its critical importance and application across various fields of performative practice throughout the Scenario community. This relevance resonated widely highlighted by the call for papers attracting over 150 international delegates to Trinity College Dublin.

The conference was kindly supported by the School of Education at Trinity College Dublin, College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences (CACSSS) at UCC, Quirkos, Flying Turtle Productions, and Mother Tongues. We also wish to thank our conference chairs and assistants whose support invaluably contributed to the success of the conference.

The 4th International Scenario Forum Conference will be held in Soka University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2027.
