Many exciting things that have been happening in the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities over the past few months. As well as a busy academic year, they have had business partners workshops, graduate internships and of course our SciFest@TCPID exhibition on June 2nd. The link to the news update brochure can be viewed below.
4 TCPID graduates who will be starting graduate internships across Trinity College in the coming weeks. This is thanks to the fantastic support of our Provost Linda Doyle and to the dedicated work of Eimear Reilly in the HR team here in Trinity.
Marie Devitt, pathways coordinator, interviewed 2nd year students about their memories of Trinity College and about what they would say to anyone considering coming to study here. There were so many wonderful statements from the students.
The Centre has been made possible through the support and funding of a range of philanthropic organisations, individuals and business partners – including the Atlantic Philanthropies, the Ireland Funds, the Iris O’Brien Foundation and the Margaret McLoughlin Fund, as well as a range of leading companies who are involved as Business Partners. TCPID gratefully acknowledge this valuable support which has enabled them to learn, grow and innovate.
Business Partners play a central role in helping achieve these outcomes for students. The companies involved in the Business Partners network represent significant relationships for their students which are essential for educational placements and establishing opportunities for transition to sustainable employment.
Happy reading!
