Postgraduate Supervision
The School of Education is active in the area of postgraduate supervision and currently has approximately 153 M.Ed. students and eighty one research students at Ph.D. / Doctoral levels engaging in research across a wide range of areas relating to education.

Structured Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
The School's Structured Ph.D programme is a development of the traditional Ph.D where students select an area of enquiry and complete their doctoral thesis under the supervision of a designated supervisor.

Doctorate in Education (D.Ed.)
The Doctorate in Education (D.Ed) is designed primarily to meet the needs of professionals within the Irish education system.
