Digital Services Company TEKenable Joins Forces with Trinity College Dublin’s School of Computer Science and Statistics
TEKenable, a leading digital services company, has announced a new research partnership with the School of Computer Science and Statistics (SCSS) at Trinity College Dublin, supported by Enterprise Ireland. This collaboration seeks to advance the development of responsible AI solutions that bring value to businesses and individuals alike.
The partnership will allow researchers from both TEKenable and SCSS to collaborate on AI-driven projects spanning several disciplines. The team, led by Jane Slevin, a PhD candidate at SCSS and a researcher at TEKenable, will focus on the practical applications of AI to improve business operations. Their research will explore AI’s potential in optimising areas such as internal processes, financial management, and customer interactions.
“We are thrilled to enter this partnership with Trinity and leverage the University’s renowned academic expertise,” said Nick Connors, Group CEO of TEKenable. “It will enable us to strengthen our knowledge and capabilities in AI, driving innovation across our business.”
Professor Anthony Ventresque, Director of the Complex Software Lab at Trinity’s School of Computer Science and Statistics, emphasised the significance of this partnership: “Working with TEKenable allows us to apply academic insights to real-world challenges, creating a powerful synergy between theory and practice.”
TEKenable, recently awarded Microsoft’s ‘AI Partner of the Year’ accolade, is also actively involved in the EU’s Digital4Sustainability initiative, which aims to enhance digital and green transition skills. Founded in 2002, TEKenable employs over 240 people and continues to expand its AI and digital transformation expertise.
This collaboration exemplifies a shared commitment to using AI to enhance business practices while prioritising responsibility and sustainability in both technology and application.
