Deirbhle O Reilly

E3 Senior Business Development and Engagement Manager

Deirbhle is the Senior Business Development and Engagement Manager for E3.
She manages the E3 Team and is responsible for the oversight, implementation and  development of the E3 Business Plan.  She works with the Dean of the Faculty of STEM and academic and administrative staff to deliver the E3 initiative.   

Deirbhle completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering in Trinity, before working in industry as a Water Engineer for several years.   She subsequently completed teacher training in the University of Exeter. She  taught in Devon for two years, before taking a career break to travel around the world.  She has worked in Trinity since her return to Ireland, initially as Global Officer for the School of Engineering and subsequently as Regional Manager for Europe (managing domestic and European student recruitment for the University).  She strongly believes in the E3 educational and research mission to deliver sustainable and climate-sensitive solutions to the world’s global challenges.

Michael Lynham

Marketing Manager

Michael Lynham is the Marketing Manager for E3 at Trinity College Dublin.  Michael is responsible for designing, implementing and executing marketing and communication strategies on behalf of E3.  Previously, Michael was the Marketing & Communications Manager with Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace.  He has also served as an International Marketing Officer in the Global Relations Office at Trinity College Dublin where he executed marketing strategies for the North American & Indian markets. 

Prior to joining Trinity, Michael worked in the health, automotive, beauty, professional services , media, and music industries. 

Michael is a European Digital Communications Award Winner, and was successfully awarded a Global Marketing & Communication Award from the prestigious Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals.   He holds a MSc in Digital Marketing from Dublin City University, MSc. in Marketing Management from the Technological University Dublin, BA (Hons.) Degree in Media and a HND in Music Production & Management from the University of West London. 

Melanie Mai

Student Recruitment & Admissions Officer

Melanie is a Student Recruitment & Admissions Officer for the E3 Initiative. Her role primarily is to provide key information and assistance to E3 applicants along their application journey and to provide support in student recruitment and university partnership activities within the E3 remit. Melanie has almost 15 years of experience in the International education arena, both in the Public and Private sectors. As a former international student herself, Melanie understands the needs and challenges faced by incoming international students while trying to adapt and balance a new life overseas. Through her previous roles, Melanie was directly involved in the development of joint programmes with partner institutions in Asia which saw many overseas students transferring to Ireland annually. Melanie was actively engaged with diplomatic missions and government agencies such as the Chinese Embassy, MARA Ireland, Kuwait Cultural Office and the Cultural Office of the UAE Embassy. Melanie holds a BA (Hons) in Journalism & Media Communications from Griffith College and a postgraduate qualification in International Business from Nottingham Trent University.
