This conference, held to mark the centenary of a crucial event in British as well as Irish political history, took place at the Curragh in March 2014. The convenors were Professor Eunan O’Halpin and Professor Anne Dolan of the Centre for Contemporary Irish History, and the event was supported by the Defence Forces.

WWI Roadshow

Trinity College hosted a Family History Collections Day of World War One memorabilia in July 2014, in conjunction with RTE and the National Library. The purpose was to enable people to bring First World War documents and other memorabilia into College where they were digitised for uploading to an online archive.
