We had the visit of some Gardai from the Pearse Street station in the Day Nursery and it was a day full of excitements. 

The children learned about their jobs and how they helped the community. The children had the opportunity of trying their uniforms, hats, jackets and their equipment. They also played with their truncheon and handcuffs. 

The children were fascinated by it all and we may have a few future Garda within the Day Nursery.
