Constantia Maxwell FAHSS Scholarship

 

Professor Constantia Maxwell - first female academic in Trinity and first woman to hold a full-time Chair: the prestigious Lecky Chair of Modern History

Named after the first female academic staff member at Trinity College Dublin, this scholarship provides an award of €3,000 to one taught postgraduate student in each school in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (FAHSS). This scholarship is funded by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Trinity College Dublin.

 

Applicants to Trinity can be considered for Constantia Maxwell Faculty Scholarship for academic year 2025-2026 by indicating on their Trinity application form that they wish to be considered for scholarship funding – no separate application form is needed. The value of the scholarship is a €3,000 contribution towards taught postgraduate (M.Phil. courses) tuition fees in the academic year 2025-2026. There is one scholarship available in each school in AHSS, funded by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Trinity.

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to new entrants (EU and Non-EU) to any of our taught M.Phil. courses, for admission in 2025/26. In order to be eligible, applicants must hold and have officially accepted an offer of a place on one of these courses by 1 July 2024.
