Ms. Aine Griffin

A highly experienced communications professional, Áine is responsible for Trinity’s long-term strategic communications objectives, the creation and delivery of Trinity’s Public Affairs Strategy, as well as the leading Trinity’s Communications team in supporting the College community.

Áine has held among the most senior positions across strategic communications, media relations, outreach and engagement, and internal communications in the public service. A committed public servant with over 20 years experience, Áine's most recent role was as Head of Communications in the Department of Justice. Prior roles include Head of Communications for the Commission on Taxation and Welfare, Head of Communications for Project Ireland 2040, Head of Outreach at the Central Bank of Ireland, Head of Communications at the Data Protection Commission and Press Officer at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.’
