The Hydraulics laboratory is used for a range of practical teaching tutorials and active research experiments. This includes test apparatus to demonstrate flow conditions in channels, and scale tests of water pumps and turbines by researchers working between the Energy Research Theme and the Water Research Group under the Environment Theme.
