Trinity College Dublin Innovation Awards
The Trinity Innovation Awards, now in the third year with the current format, has already established itself as a major event in the College calendar. The event was held in Regent House on December 5 2019 November, where the College celebrated innovation and entrepreneurship at Trinity College Dublin with the Provost, Dr Patrick Prendergast and guests.
Awards were presented in 6 categories. Dr Cahill was nominated in two categories - 'One to Watch' & 'Societal Impact'.
Dr Cahill was joint winner of the 'Societal Impact' award - along with Prof Carmel O' Sullivan (School of Education).
This award is presented to the Academic whose research has had a significant impact for Trinity, society and industry.
