Research
The Centre houses a formal Research Unit which was initially funded for three years by Atlantic Philanthropies in 2004. The aim of the Research Unit of CGWS is to undertake socially relevant research from a feminist perspective, asking challenging questions about the type of society we have and the type of society we wish to create. Its overall focus is on issues of equality/inequality with specific emphasis on:
- Women and Ambition
- Issues of Work Life Balance
- Education and Gender Equity
- Change and Diversity in Family Structures
