Ukrainian Support Initiative

Trinity Executive Education is committed to supporting Ukrainian citizens in Ireland and across Europe affected by the ongoing conflict and facilitating Ukraine in its journey towards European Union membership. The Ukrainian Access Initiative offers full bursaries and access to our suite of short professional development programmes for:

  • Ukrainian nationals living in Ireland and across Europe
  • Ukrainian residents working in the Ukrainian public and civil sector

Recognising the profound challenges faced by those affected by the war in Ukraine, we are committed to providing significant educational opportunities that empower individuals to rebuild their lives and careers.  

This initiative underscores our belief in the power of education to drive positive change and resilience. By opening doors to professional development and lifelong learning, we aim to contribute to the personal and professional growth of Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian society during these difficult times. 

Overview of the Initiative 

A number of full bursaries are provided in each cohort of eligible short professional development programmes. Applications to these bursaries can be submitted by clicking on the dedicated Apply Now button for Applicants eligible via the Trinity Executive Education Access Initiative on each programme page. Please note that these programmes will provide a certificate of completion upon completion. Bursaries do not apply to the micro-credential route. Eligible candidates are offered the chance to apply for both in-person and online programmes, providing flexibility to accommodate various learning preferences and needs. As with all programme applications, Trinity Executive Education will determine eligibility as well as selection of bursary participants.

These programmes are designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.

Programme Entry Requirements 

To ensure a high-quality learning experience for all participants, eligible Ukrainian candidates must meet the same entry criteria as other applicants. These requirements include: 

  • Ukrainian Nationality
  • English Language Proficiency: Equivalent to IELTS 7.0 (with no less than 7.0 in each element) or TOEFL 93 overall (with no less than 19 in Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking sections). Proficiency may be assessed during an interview with the candidate.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional or managerial work experience, supported by an up-to-date CV and LinkedIn profile.
  • Individual Interview: An interview may be required as part of the admissions process. 

Number of Available Places Per Programme 

We are reserving up to two full bursary places per programme for eligible Ukrainian candidates. These places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates who do not secure a place on their desired course iteration may be placed on a waiting list for the next available programme. 

Terms and Conditions 

  • Eligibility: Open to Ukrainian professionals across Ireland, Europe, and Ukraine.
  • Course Participation: Each individual can undertake a maximum of two programmes under this initiative.
  • Certification: Participants will enroll as non-credit learners and will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful course completion.
  • Alumni Network: Participants who successfully complete their programme will be invited to join the Trinity Business School alumni community and participate in alumni events.
  • Guideline Modifications: Trinity Executive Education reserves the right to modify these guidelines as necessary.
  • Feedback and Testimonials: Participants are expected to complete course evaluation surveys and may be asked to provide testimonials.
