Sandra Gleeson

Biography

Sandra is Director of Tax Digital Transformation, Training & Development in Grant Thornton. Since joining Grant Thornton, Sandra has implemented a comprehensive training programme to accelerate tax learning and to create a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment. In addition, she has led the development of strategic and operational initiatives focusing on addressing the challenges of rapid technological change. As a passionate advocate of on-the-job and practical learning, Sandra has developed the Accounting in Practice module for the Professional Diploma in Accounting in order to bring the on-the-job learning experience to students.

Sandra is also a Senior Lecturer with AccountancySchool.ie and has specialised in Tax, Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. She has lectured extensively to CAI, ACCA, CPA and CIMA students since 2002. She also is the CAP 2 and FAE Tax lecturer with Chartered Grind School having previously lectured with the Chartered Accountants Ireland.
