Oliver Tattan

Biography

Oliver is an experienced entrepreneur and investor in the insurance and IT sectors. He is a founder and director of health insurer GloHealth, of investment manager ‘Insurance Regulatory Capital’, consumer network OneBigSwitch, Vivas Insurance and biometric identity manager Daon.

Oliver is an INED with AGF International, a Canadian asset manager and of CPL Resources plc, a listed human resources company. He is Chairman of the Government funded Applied Research in Connected Health (ARCH) centre.

Previously, he also served as CEO of VHI, an insurance company and of ABT, a Government owned marketing agency for Irish companies.

Oliver was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a B.E. (Chem.) from University College Dublin and also studied Industrial Psychology at UNISA. He lived in Germany (manufacturing electronic components), Brazil, South Africa (gold mining) and France and speaks German and Portuguese.
